Dear Prosecutor General:

I am writing you today to reiterate my concern for the welfare of Ahmed Chataev,
who was to be extradited to Russia. I urge you to comply with your obligations
as a state party to the 1951 Refugee Convention and UN Convention Against Torture
and other Cruel, Inhuman or degrading Treatment of Punishment and not extradite
Mr. Chataev to a country where he faces the real, documented possibility of ill-
treatment or the death penalty.

The European Court of Human Rights has ruled that you not return Mr. Chataev and
I urge you strongly to comply with this ruling.

Thank you for your time in this urgent matter.

Yours Sincerely,
Shawn Nock
