Monday Workout
11 rounds for time: 10 push-ups & 500m row (35min. 02sec.) + strength training
Mixed feelings today. i had a rough and slow start on the circuit. As I got warmed up a flow developed and I was able to complete another "all-time high round" circuit session. 5.5k row and 110 full-motion push-ups. The more attentive readers will notice that the circuit time seems slow. I think that I picked up the pace well at the end, but a woman asked me to instruct her in how to begin rowing. I am hardly qaulitfied, but I think I gave her enough knowledge to avoid injury. Afterwards, I tried my first post-workout shake. 15oz. Cold Water + 5g creatine monohydrate + 1.5 Scoops Whey Protein powder. I drank this all pretty quickly, which gave me a bit of nausea, but the sugar in it seemed to perk me up pretty well! I am going to continue the creatine loading (10g/day for 4 days), finishing on Wed. I have high hopes for my performance mid-week.
